Book Recommendations

Every designer knows it is essential to have access to a well stocked library. For both inspiration and product ideas, books related to all aspects of design are a great resource to have on hand. Below are some of my favorite resources for books, as well as a few inspirational recommendations!

As probably everyone knows, is a great place to find book deals. They also have foreign versions (,, etc) for the European books you may not be able to find here. Our neighbors to the north also offer some great book websites. is an English language site but also has a large selection of foreign titles, and the shipping is significantly less than if you were to order from Europe. For France, is one of my favorites. They always offer great promotions and their international shipping rates are reasonable. Finally, (another site from Canada) has helped me to find used books or older titles that are either out of print or not easily accessible through US booksellers. Happy browsing!
