Fall Flea Market pics!

For those of you who were curious about what could be found at the Jayson Home & Garden Fall Flea market.. I have plenty of pictures for you!

Just like men, it seems the best furniture comes from the European continent. The selection this year is no exception. Heavy on items from France and Belgium the array of furniture and accessories is huge. Throw in some vintage hotel silverware, antique linens, tea towels and napkins as well as a mix of new items from their everyday stock and you’ve got a decorators heaven. Everyone in the store looked as if they were on visual overload… some of us were even drooling.

You still have one more day to check out the sale! Here are some of my favorite finds:

Vintage French chaise lounge.

Some of their flower and plant offerings.

Vintage leather trunks!

The glossy linen fabric used to reupholster these chairs is stunning in person!

From the Jayson Home & Garden furniture line. I love the contrast between the tufting and the Union Jack pillow.

A tiny little chair with a white finish. Would be great at a small dressing table or behind a very low writing desk.

A great book for foodies! French Feasts: 299 Traditional Recipes for Family Meals and Gatherins by Stephane Renaud. Beautifully composed pages, great photos and recipes that are simple yet require a decent grasp of culinary technique, this book is an essential addition to your kitchen if you ever want to create knock-out country french meals. Use it for your next Sunday lunch!

This photo does not do this bench justice! Amazing lines, solid, sturdy construction and a beautifu finish.. This is just waiting to be reupholdtered with a luxe fabric. Maybe something bright and modern? Maybe a cut velvet damask? Or an emboridered silk? Again, I was drooling. Resting on top are a few of the linens and silverware available.

Vintage brass chair with wool upholstery. A great classic addition to any room.

I am still lusting after this French chair many hours later. Bleached oak, bright green mohair.. divine.

Not vintage, yet still great.

Antique gilt chair from France. Reupholstered in vintage Ikat and burlap. Yum.
